Welcome to BELOCK.

BELOCK — “Lock It. We Deliver It.”

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the BELOCK website, application, delivery services, and related services.

By using BELOCK, you agree to these Terms.

  1. ABOUT BELOCK

BELOCK is a local delivery and logistics service.

BELOCK connects customers, merchants, and delivery partners to facilitate the transportation of products from a merchant’s location to a customer’s delivery address.

BELOCK’s primary role is to provide delivery and logistics services.

For products supplied by third-party merchants, BELOCK is not the seller, manufacturer, owner, or supplier of those products.

The respective merchant remains responsible for the sale and supply of the product.

  1. MERCHANT IS THE SELLER

When a customer orders a product from a participating third-party merchant:

  • The merchant is the seller of the product.
  • The merchant owns or controls the product before delivery.
  • The merchant determines the product price.
  • The merchant is responsible for the product.
  • The merchant prepares and packages the product.
  • The merchant issues the applicable bill/invoice/cash memo.
  • BELOCK provides the delivery service.

BELOCK does not purchase the product from the merchant for resale to the customer.

BELOCK does not add the product to its own inventory merely because it is transporting the product.

The customer should refer to the merchant’s bill/invoice for the product purchase.

  1. BILLING AND INVOICE

For third-party merchant orders, the product bill/invoice/cash memo should be issued by the respective seller/merchant, as applicable.

The merchant is responsible for:

  • Product price
  • Applicable taxes
  • Product description
  • Quantity
  • Applicable discounts
  • Applicable product charges
  • Applicable invoice/billing requirements

BELOCK may separately issue or communicate a delivery/service charge receipt or transaction record for the delivery service, where applicable.

The BELOCK delivery charge is separate from the price of the product.

Example:

Product price:
Merchant → Customer

Product invoice:
Merchant → Customer

Delivery charge:
Customer → BELOCK

Delivery service:
BELOCK → Customer

  1. BELOCK DOES NOT STOCK THIRD-PARTY PRODUCTS

For third-party merchant orders, BELOCK does not normally purchase, own, or maintain stock of the merchant’s products.

The product remains with the merchant until it is handed over for delivery.

BELOCK’s delivery partner collects the product from the merchant and transports it to the customer.

BELOCK does not become the owner of the product merely because it transports or temporarily possesses the product for delivery.

  1. DELIVERY PARTNER ROLE

A BELOCK delivery partner acts as a delivery representative for the delivery service.

The delivery partner may:

  • Travel to the merchant
  • Collect the prepared order
  • Verify basic delivery information
  • Transport the order
  • Contact the customer when necessary
  • Deliver the order
  • Obtain delivery confirmation where applicable

The delivery partner is not authorized to independently change the product, price, prescription, quantity, or other commercial terms of the merchant’s sale.

  1. PRODUCT RESPONSIBILITY

For third-party merchant products, the merchant remains responsible for the product.

This includes, where applicable:

  • Product quality
  • Product quantity
  • Product authenticity
  • Product expiry
  • Product packaging
  • Product safety
  • Product description
  • Product price
  • Product availability
  • Product legality
  • Applicable licences
  • Applicable taxes
  • Product-specific warranties
  • Product-specific returns
  • Product-specific refunds

BELOCK’s responsibility is primarily related to the delivery service.

This does not exclude any responsibility or liability that BELOCK may have under applicable law for its own acts or omissions.

  1. MEDICINE AND PHARMACY DELIVERY

BELOCK may provide delivery/logistics services for medicines and pharmacy products supplied by participating licensed pharmacies or other legally authorized sellers.

BELOCK is not the seller of the medicine when the medicine is supplied and sold by the participating pharmacy.

The pharmacy/seller remains responsible for the lawful sale, dispensing, prescription requirements, billing, packaging, and regulatory requirements applicable to the medicine.

BELOCK’s role is limited to collecting and delivering the medicine to the customer, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

BELOCK and its delivery partners do not:

  • Prescribe medicines
  • Diagnose medical conditions
  • Recommend medicines as medical professionals
  • Substitute medicines
  • Change prescriptions
  • Decide which medicine should be dispensed
  • Independently sell medicines when acting only as a delivery partner

The medicine must be supplied by the legally authorized seller in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Where a prescription is legally required, the relevant licensed seller is responsible for obtaining and verifying the prescription as required by law.

Customers may be required to provide or verify prescription information before the merchant can dispense certain medicines.

Applicable pharmacy and drug laws may impose specific requirements on the licensed seller. BELOCK will operate its delivery service subject to applicable legal requirements.

  1. MEDICINE BILLING

For medicine orders supplied by a third-party pharmacy:

The pharmacy/seller is responsible for issuing the applicable bill, invoice, or cash memo.

The bill should identify the relevant seller as required by applicable law.

BELOCK’s delivery charge, if any, is separate from the medicine/product price.

BELOCK does not represent the delivery charge as the price of the medicine.

Example:

Medicine:
Pharmacy → Customer

Medicine bill:
Pharmacy → Customer

Delivery:
BELOCK → Customer

Delivery charge:
Customer → BELOCK

  1. RESTAURANT AND FOOD ORDERS

  1. LOSS OR DAMAGE DURING DELIVERY

If a product is handed to a BELOCK delivery partner in proper condition and is subsequently lost or damaged during transportation, BELOCK may investigate the incident.

Where the investigation establishes responsibility on the part of BELOCK or its delivery partner, BELOCK may take appropriate corrective action subject to applicable law and the circumstances of the case.
